How to play

Game Goal:
Train hard as the loveable hero Po to become a legendary Kung Fu master and protect the Valley of Peace. Battle as the villain Tai Lung, the treacherous snow leopard determined to steal the legendary Dragon Scroll. Features an unlockable character!

Starting the game:
Highlight "Kung Fu Panda" in the games menu on your phone, and press "Select" (or "OK" on the D-Pad) to start. You are prompted to choose sound either On or Off. After you make your selection, the EA, DreamWorks, and Kung Fu Panda splash screens appear followed by the Main Menu.

Main Menu:

• Continue Game - Continue your game (only available while a game is in-progress)
• New Game - Start a new game.
• Options - Turn sounds, vibration, tutorials and "secret" (must be unlocked) ON/OFF
• Help - View detailed instructions and information on how to play the game
• About - Displays copyright information and customer service information
• Exit - Exit back to your phone's main menu.

Po and Tai Lung perform similar actions:

Special Attack:
All playable characters have a unique special move that inflicts extra damage. To perform your special attack, enter the sequence:

Down, Forward (toward enemy), Attack

This special attack can also be performed with the numeric keypad: 8, 4 (or 6), 5

Pickups:

• Rice dumplings (Po levels) - restore 1 point of health
• Noodle Soup (Po levels) - temporarily doubles damage
• Scrolls (Tai Lung levels) - restore 1 point of health
• Torches (Tai Lung levels) - temporarily doubles damage
• Paws of Power - find all of these to unlock a bonus feature!

Losing a life:
Starting from the beginning of the game, Po and Tai Lung each have 3 lives.

During the game, if you lose a life with additional lives remaining, your lives will resume at the closest checkpoint and one life will be deducted from the HUD. If you run out of lives you will lose any progress in the current level, but will maintain your progress in the game overall. In order to continue you will need to play the current level from the beginning.

Losing the game:
If you have no more lives, your will be queried as to whether you want to start the current level from the beginning or return to the main menu.

Winning the game:
If Po can defeat Tai Lung he will have saved the Valley of Peace. Can you defeat Tai Lung?

AutoSave:
The game will autosave following the completion of each level. This level will be available for replay from the Level Select screen.

Check Point Save
Within each level there are several checkpoints. If you lose a life during a level and still have lives left, you will restart at the closest checkpoint you have already cleared.

Tips and Hints

• Don't forget to dodge, duck, and jump away from enemy attacks.
• Enemies have varied attacks and hit points. Don't just button smash or you will lose a life.
• Be sure to be on the lookout for enemies that throw spears.
• Jumping on top of enemies can some times be an effective way to defeat them.
• If your character is injured, make sure to pickup rice dumplings or scrolls to replenish health.
• Floor traps can be avoided if you take your time and don't rush.

FAQ

How do I know if I have found all the Paws of Power?

A counter will be displayed on the level-end statistics screen and on the level-select screen (only after clearing the level once).

How do I access the Help section?

Highlight "Help" in the Main Menu and press "OK" to access the Help section. While in-game, you can also find the Help section in the Pause Menu.

How do I save?

Game progress is saved automatically as you complete each level.

How do I win the game?

You must defeat Tai Lung and protect the Valley of Peace.
